Professional Handhelds: LightStim+ Anti-Aging and LightStim+ Acne devices both have 72 LEDs and are ergonomically designed for ease of use in the treatment room. Retail Handhelds: LightStim for Wrinkles has 72 LEDs, and LightStim for Acne is slightly smaller with 36 LEDs. Both retail devices include a 3-minute timer to remind the home user when to move to the next area, and are ergonomically designed for comfortable self-treatment. LightStim for Pain is used both professionally and for at-home use and also has 72 LEDs.
LightStim+ Anti-Aging utilizes multiple wavelengths of Amber, Light Red, Dark Red, and Infrared LEDs. The LEDs are absorbed in the skin helping to stimulate the body’s natural anti-aging process. LightStim+ Acne utilizes Blue LEDs to kill P. acnes bacteria, and Red LEDs to soothe and calm the skin. Both can be incorporated into your current facial treatments to enhance your existing treatment protocols. LightStim for Pain can be utilized during a massage or as an added treatment to areas of pain while performing facial protocols. Note: Each of these Lights contains some infrared LEDs which are not visible to the human eye.
